Scott Douglas, came to Bellamere Winery in Dec 2002 from a varied training background and work experience with other established wineries in Ontario

It is Bellamere's and his philosophy to take the excess sweetness out of fruit wines so that more people would enjoy the experience. Not so sugary, more fruit forward and a little more dry, to keep all the natural fruit flavours. Keeping a nice clean taste is most important to him

At Bellamere our wines are predominantly stainless steel fermented. We're not out to mass produce our wine, just to keep it hand crafted to the highest quality and consistencey.

To that end we have introduced the new "Winemaker Signature Reserve" wines specially handcrafted by our winemaker in very limited quantity. Only vintages which meet Scotts exacting standards will be chosen based on thier unique attributes. Each bottle in this series will be personally sealed, hand signed and numbered by our winemaker.
